The president of AGSM, Mr Stelios Zarafopoulos, has announced during a press conference, the start of the collaboration with QUALIFI, a UK regulated awarding organisation, with the aim of providing centre and programme accreditation services in Greece, Cyprus and the wider region.

In the presence of colleagues and invited executives from professional education and training organisation in Greece, Mr Zarafopoulos, addressed the need to develop a new framework for the creation, distribution and assessment of professional knowledge.  In particular he mentioned: "Our aim is to promote and strengthen the credibility of professional programmes based on valid international standards and to further connect them with local experience and practice".

Mr Demetris Zarafopoulos, Managing Director of Edextra Worldwide Learning, an AGSM initiative which will provide the accreditation and certification services in Greece, presented the benefits for learners and study centres.  He stated that: "Certified professional programmes provide learners with international recognision and prepare them for global careers.  At the same time, study centres can link their provision with universities and professional bodies around the world, significantly enhancing their potential for growth and development".
